Morrill Elementary Christmas Break | Just a reminder that there will be no school December 23, 2024 through January 6, 2025. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We can't wait to see everyone next year starting January 7, 2025!
Our 2nd quarter Next Level Day was great! We went bowling and had an amazing time.

2nd Quarter Next Level Day | Our 2nd Quarter Next Level Event this year will take place on December 19th. This event is a way to celebrate our student's great behavior and academics during the 2nd Quarter. Please check out the attached flyer for all of the details. Time flies when you're having fun...and we are having a great time at school! These kiddos earned the Lion of the Month Award for November! They were showing off their academic skills, good behavior, and positive attitudes. We are so proud of these students. Way to go!

A few weeks ago we had the Morrill One Acts come to morning meeting. They shared about their passion for the activity and their excitement about performing.
Today, they are competing at the state competition! We are so proud of these Lions. We are sending you lots of good vibes!

Morrill Elementary Reminder - No School Dec. 13 & 16, 2024 | There will be no school on December 13th for K-12th due to a staff work day and professional development. There will also be no school on December 16th for K-6th due to a JH PAC Basketball Tournament. School for the elementary will resume on Tuesday, December. 17th. Thank you!

UPDATE - Holiday Greenery Shipment Has Arrived | Our shipment for the holiday greenery has arrived and we will proceed with pick-up on Thursday, December 5th as scheduled: 7:30-8:00 am and again at 3:30-4:30 pm. The orders can be picked up at the Morrill Elementary building. If for some reason the pick-up times do not work for you, please contact the Morrill Elementary Office at (308) 247-2176 to arrange a different time. Thank you!
Santa's Workshop - Helpers Needed | The Morrill Elementary PTO is putting on Santa's Workshop this year and they are looking for volunteers. The event will take place on Monday, December 9th. UPDATE - Holiday Greenery Shipment Delayed | Unfortunately, our holiday greenery shipment has been delayed and is now expected to be delivered on Wednesday, December 4th. We will plan on moving our Greenery Pick-Up Date to Thursday, December 5th from 7:30-8:00 am and again from 3:30-4:30 pm at the Morrill Elementary building. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we will do our best to communicate if there might be any additional delays. Santa's Workshop - December 9th | Santa's Workshop will be returning to Morrill Elementary! If you would like your child to participate, please return the attached flyer back to the school by Thursday, December 5th. Each student will have the opportunity to shop for up to 10 special people. The event will take place on Monday, December 9th and is being organized by our Morrill Elementary PTO Group. Any questions can be directed to Samantha Hinman at (308) 458-7819. Thank you!
2024 Greenery Pick-Up - December 4th | We will have the Holiday Greenery Pick-up at Morrill Elementary on Wednesday, December 4th from 7:30-8:00 am and again from 3:30-4:30 pm. If your student has a small/manageable order, we will send that with them at the dismissal of school on the 4th. For all other orders, please plan to pick-up at the designated times. If none of the above times work, please call the Morrill Elementary Office at (308) 247-2176 to arrange a different time. Thank you!!
