Morrill Public Library After School Program Canceled Jan. 7, 2022
We wanted to inform the families of the students who attend the After School Program at the Morrill Public Library that on Friday, January 7th the program will be canceled due to a broken furnace. This will only affect a handful of students, but we wanted to make sure parents were aware so they had time to make arrangements for their child(ren). Thank you!

Our last day of school before break is Wednesday, December 22nd.
Christmas break will start on Thursday, December 23rd and run through Wednesday, January 5th.
School resumes on Thursday, January 6th, 2022.

Shhh...it's a holiday secret.
On Monday, December 20, 2021 the Morrill Elementary staff is treating the elementary students to a movie in Mitchell as our gift to them. The PTO will provide each child with a snack pack treat. There is no cost to your student.
We will leave the school at 8:15 and return about 10:45 in time for lunch. It is important for your child to be at school on time that day.

Dental Screenings / Consent Forms
The attached form will be coming home today with students who are in K-4th grade. Kendra Lauruhn is a public health registered dental hygienist who will be here at the elementary on December 8th to complete dental screenings for all students in those grades. If you wish for your student to also receive fluoride and dental sealants, the parent consent form will need to be completed and returned by December 8th. 2021 Christmas Stroll
Morrill's annual downtown Christmas Stroll will be on Monday, December 6th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Please see the attached flyer detailing all of the festivities that will be occurring that evening. Also, there will be a "Believe Booth" located in the front area at the Mi Casa restaurant that will be handing out hats, gloves, hot chocolate, and cookies to the kiddos! Thanks everyone!
Greenery pick-up for large orders will be on Wednesday & Thursday after school from 4:00-5:30 pm.
We will send smaller orders directly home with students.

2021 Christmas Dress-Up Days
For the month of December, we will have dress-up days leading up to Christmas Break for both students and staff! You are welcome to participate in as many days or as few days as you would like. A note with the fun dress-up days will be coming home with your student(s) today. Just have fun and be creative!!!
