February is a short month, but our Lions packed a lot of amazing accomplishments in to it!
We are so proud of our new group of Lions of the month. These students are setting great examples for their peers.
Morrill Elementary will be doing a Butter Braid Fundraiser from March 1st - 11th, 2024. All order forms along with the money collected, will need to be returned to the elementary school by Monday, March 11th. The orders will be available for pick-up on Thursday, March 28th at Morrill Elementary just before Easter. The Top Sellers have the chance to earn some amazing prizes!! All proceeds earned from the fundraiser help support our Den Days, Next Level Days, and multiple other fun student activities!! Please encourage your student(s) as they take on the challenge of selling and representing our school!! Your student(s) will be coming home with their Butter Braid packet today and the attached flyers will have all of the details about our fundraiser. Thanks everyone for your support!!!
Read Across America Week - March 4th-6th / Celebrate with us March 4th-6th for Read Across America Week!! We have some fun dress-up days planned and would love for our students to participate and get creative! Thank you!
This Lion was caught being a great friend and was asked to be our next Junior Counselor. When a friend is down, Breyer will swoop in to encourage them and turn their day around. We are lucky to have him and his warm smile at MES.

As we navigate the discussions surrounding the solar farm project south of Stegall, it is important to acknowledge the uncertainties and assumptions that often accompany such activities.
In order to foster a better understanding of the project. We have arranged for representatives of the project to host an open house presentation and question-and-answer session. This opportunity will enable us to gather information and engage in constructive dialogue about the project's implications.

A big thank you to the Riverside Discovery Center for coming to visit our school today! We enjoyed hosting some animal guests & learning.
A big shout out to our students who participated in Sing Around Nebraska this weekend! They have been working hard with Mrs. Stumpff before school for weeks, practicing their songs. On Saturday, they joined students from all over the state to put on a fabulous concert!
We are so proud of all of these singers! We can't wait to see you continue to shine!
