Hello All,
We just received an order form for our conference tournament t-shirt. All proceeds will benefit a family member of our Western Trails Conference who is going through cancer. All order forms and money need to be turned into the elementary office by Wednesday, September 16th. Sorry for the short notice. Thank you!

Parents,
We wanted to share some very important information regarding the school meal program. Today the state shared that ALL students in Morrill Public Schools will receive free breakfast and lunch- going into effect starting September 1. At this time, the business office will be crediting any meals that were charged from September 1-today. We will send home invoices for meals that were charged August 17-August 31.
Free meals will be in place until further notice. Students wanting seconds and/or extra milk will still be charged accordingly.

IT'S GAME DAY!!! Big day for the Lions!! Junior High Volleyball team is in action in Bridgeport today starting at 4:00pm. They will play the A game followed by the B game.
Varsity Football is home tonight vs Kimball. We will have a 6:00pm kickoff for the game tonight. Come out and support these young men. The game will be on www.striv.tv.com on the Morrill channel.

Regional West Medical Center is running their immunization clinics the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Tuesdays of every month from 3:00pm – 7:00pm. Please call Theresa Ann at 308-630-1126 to schedule an appointment. They require all patients to wear a mask during their appointments, and are only permitted to come with one parent or guardian.
Today's Junior High football game and volleyball games vs Sioux County have been moved to Monday September 21st. Volleyball game will be at 2:00pm and Football game will be at 4:00pm
Students work on their knife skills along with learning how to cut food in different ways. We practiced cutting apples in a julienne, brunoise small dice, and slicing styles.

Here is the information for the Volleyball Jamboree games in Gering on Monday.
Great news, we have a new Volleyball Jamboree scheduled for Monday in Gering. Games will start at 6:00pm and the schedule will be as follows-
6:00 Gering vs Alliance
Morrill vs Alliance
Gering ve Morrill

University of Nebraska Medical Center will be providing FREE School Sports Physicals August 12th from 4-7pm at the WNCC Harms Advanced Technology Center in Scottsbluff. Please use the form below when you attend. Reminder this year sports physicals are ONLY required for incoming 7th, 8th graders and Freshman. For other grades, the physical from the previous year will roll over. Please contact Bobbi of UNMC at 308-632-0410 for more information.

Orientation for incoming 7th graders will be on August 10th at 6:30 pm at the High School. We will be going over the upcoming school year and selecting Houses for those students that are present. This is for only incoming 7th graders. Thank you and see you Monday!
